Vintage Senior Living

When looking for retirement homes, considerations go beyond the location and the costs of being a resident there. Other important things that come into the equation include the kind of care that residents get there. It is important to make a resident’s stay there as meaningful and as comfortable as possible.

Vintage Senior Living is one such institution. Owned by the Vintage Senior Management LLC, it is a community of retirement homes that offers a wide variety of services to seniors residing there.

Currently, their retirement homes are located in the states of Arizona, California and Washington, although most of their business is concentrated in the California area.

Depending on the location of the property, Vintage Senior Living offers either some or all of the following features:

- Retirement living – for retirees who can still do things on their own
- Assisted living – for retirees who need some help in some daily activities but still prefer to live as independently as possible
- Alzheimer’s care – for those who are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease

For all their services, Vintage Senior Living emphasizes the core values of “integrity, compassion, quality, professionalism and accountability.” According to them, they will continue following these values as they expand their community.

Assisted Living

Staying true to their core values, Senior Vintage Living offers what they call the Assisted Living and Wellness Program. As mentioned earlier, this is for those who need some help with some of their daily activities.

In this program, they offer the following services:

- Assistance with medications
- Assistance with grooming, bathing and dressing
- Assistance with eating and toileting
- Escorting to and from various activities
- Preparation and serving of special diets that are prescribed or recommended by physicians

Alzheimer’s Care

Alzheimer’s care is another kind of program offered by Vintage Senior Living. Alzheimer’s is a condition that affects people who are usually over 65 years old. The condition’s most common symptom is short-term memory loss although it can also be coupled with other symptoms such as confusion and mood swings.

Vintage Senior Living’s program aims to enrich the physical and mental lives of the residents. This is achieved through services such as health services, medication management, and incontinence care and management, among others.
